¡It's raining blood!

Tuesday, August 30, 2005

I'm sorry my commenting has sucked lately.

Uh-oh. I'm in an advice giving mood. Never good. Actually, I've never been in this kind of mood so I'm not sure how it will go but yeah, we'll see.
So, usually I try to make the best of things but lately I'm just getting burnt out, severely. I haven't been having a good time at work. It's because of all the negative energy though. Seriously, if you have a problem at home, LEAVE IT AT HOME! It's not really that hard of a concept but I seem to be the only person to get it. Really, if you're boyfriend just dumped you, get a new one. There are only what, millions of guys out there? That really shouldn't affect how you work. There is just way too much negative energy at work. Honestly I don't care if your boyfriend cheats on you, your cousin dies, your best friend is moving, and your electricity got shut off. Just go to work, do your job and replace all of those things with material posessions. Okay, so that wasn't at all serious but yeah, it just makes me mad when people don't want to work and bring everyone else down just because they aren't in a good mood.

Oh, hey, I finally checked out I ♥ Huckabees from the library! I've had it on hold for forever and I was finally able to pick it up. Hopefully I'll be able to watch it after work tomorrow. I work from 10-4. This really should be my biggest paycheck yet because I've worked almost every day, but I've also only had like 5 or 6 hour days every day. Except that one day when I had like 10 and a half. That was crazy but lots of fun! Eek, I should be sleeping since I have to wake up at 8 tomorrow.
I hate drive through. Some kid yelled at me today. Like 6 years old or something. So not cool. Some woman got 6 root beer floats. Then came back through and got 2 more. The guy with the broken arm came in again. People kept driving up to the window without giving me the chance to take their order. One guy was totally weird...he was all like "excuse me, your board isn't lit up. Do you want me to take a look at it?" But I thought he said, "could you get someone to take a look at it?" So I had him pull around to the window then he was all like "oh, I was kidding". Then he was being all weird and for some reason he was like "this place is just falling apart"...umm... I don't think anything broke. And it turns out, the sign is never lit. Weird, huh? You would think people would need to read it. I hate my job so much some times. I wish I could get a job where like no people were. Just like a few nice people and no one else. Or a job where I didn't have to worry about what the customer thinks.

I think System of a Down's cd Mesmerize is really good but I had it on the other day and my parents are all like, "What is that crap? Turn it off". Apparently they hate it. Oh, and supposedly I got home from the movies at midnight the other night and didn't talk to my dad at all then went to sleep (had to work in the morning) so my dad told my mom I was acting weird. So he made her make me show her my movie ticket stub and then take a pciture of the bowling alley the next night when we went bowling. So lame. I really can't talk much more of this over protective super parenting stuff. It's driving me crazy!

So yeah...I text messaged Nick the other day and he wrote back "I can't talk now. I'm with Crissy. I'm kind of tangled up, sorry. Ttyl." She came into my work today. He's in Texas. I am so confused!! That is the second time he's told me he was with her but that's impossible unless one of them is flying to see the other for 2 days at a time but I know they're not. Unless he's home but I really don't think he is because they'd be spending all of their time together. Augh. I wish I knew what was going on.

"Excuse me miss, have you been drinking?"

So, I haven't updated in a couple days. It feels like forever though for some reason.

I went out and bought System of a Down's newer cd, Mesmerize. I absolutely love it. There are a couple songs that aren't that great but for the most part it's pretty good. When I got it, he didn't make me show id. Crazy. I would think that they had to but I guess not. But it wouldn't have mattered becuase I'm old enough now :)

Also that day I went with Katie Alderman and my mom into Portland and we went to a bunch of thrift stores. We went to this one that sells stuff by the pound... it was so fun. We got the craziest clothing. I love all of it though. She got a shirt that says "I love pastrami rachel" on the back and the sleeve says "noah's". We got a bunch of cool stuff.

So, I finally got up enough nerve to call Nick today and he was like, "I can't talk now, I'm with Crissy". I'm pretty sure he meant he was on the phone with her because last time I checked she was still here and he was still in Texas. But it kind of sucks that he hasn't called me back or anything. And he didn't try to call me today. He called me on the day before my birthday and yesterday and I couldn't answer either time or call him back. Oh, I guess my parent's cell phone bill was like $270. I used 600 of the 1000 minutes that we had. My mom made me give her $50. I was ticked. But she did buy me a phone for our house. My parents hate the phone so they didn't use it before so they didn't care if we had one but they bought me one so now I can actually talk on the phone for free and not worry about how long I was talking.

Eek, at work today they made me work drive thru!! It was so scary. I absolutely hate it. I think I might actually like taco line better. I hate working. It sucks. At least school starts soon so I'll get like no hours. I'm excited. I hate working weekends. They're always so busy. Actually, today was probably only busy for like, an hour, and then it was fine.

So last night I went bowling with Katherine, Katie, Natalie, Eric, Tommy, and Christina (I don't think any of you know any of them except maybe Katherine and Katie...and possibly natalie or her brother eric) but yeah...we went to Gladstone (so expensive). It was pretty fun. After Katherine stopped in the middle of the left hand lane (of the road in front of us) at a stop sign, I decided it might be a good idea to ride with Katie. So she drove me there and we got there like 20 minutes before katherine and them. they made some stops though. It was cosmic bowling so I wore a shirt that has glow in the dark paint on it and katie dressed weird as well so it was really fun. Then we saw Joe O Meara and his "crew". That was...interesting. I mean, it's always fun to get stared at, yes? Then katie was apparently in a good mood and decided to go say hi but I'm pretty sure she was just mocking him or something. Idk. We stayed far away from them all night. Then after bowling, we went to Shari's. I had a "mega melt panini". they made fun of me because I can't say "panini". And because I asked Katherine how to say focaccia or something like that. I have no idea what that is. Some kind of bread I think. But yeah, Katie had already gone home by then and christina and tommy left too. Then we left at like 1 and at about 1:15, I look up into the rearview mirror and I was like "where are those lights coming from?" ...little pause..."hey guys, is that guy pulling us over??" Katherine: "oh crap!!" She was going to cry i think. Then he asked who the car was registered too. She just bought it and it turns out that they haven't turned the registration over to her yet. Then he asked her if she'd been drinking! That was so funny. Well, earlier, she was telling me what it sounded like if we ran over the little bumps in the middle of the road so she ran over them like 3 times then he said "because it seemed like you swerved over to the middle a few times." It was hilarious. She was so scared.
I don't get paid for like a week and I have one dollar left. Isn't that horribly sad?? But Sara owes me $47. So technically I have $48 left. It was dumb because I had to pay the $20 for my own student body card. lame. And I had to buy my casual friday uniform for work. and i bought clothes. I need to be really thrifty with my next paycheck or I'll spend it all in a week again. No more bowling at gladstone. And giving other people gas money. And paying for their bowling. Money goes by far too quickly.

17 now.

Yum... cake. I was kind of sad because my parents took me out to dinner and then on the way home I'm just thinking about how I really wanted a cute cake that said Happy Birthday on it. But yeah, they got me one! And we went to Olive Garden and our next door neighbor was our waitress. That was cool, she's nice. Oh yeah, and it's my birthday!
I was so excited to turn 17. And honestly, I'm still excited. I only have an hour and a half left and I am soaking it up. It's a big deal to me. I made a wish last night at midnight but it didn't come true =/ . Oh well. I'll give it time.
Yesterday Amanda called to ask me to come into work at 11. I had just worked the night before from 4 to close so like 11 then she calls and I'm like "okay!" Well, I worked from 11 am to 10 pm. It wasn't bad though. I like work enough. And I was covering for the one girl I don't really like so that was okay too because she wasn't there. 10 hours. Geez. Well, 11 hours at work but I got an hour break so yeah.
Well, after work we were supposed to go bowling. Everyone got all ready and then we get into Clackamas to find out that the bowling alley doesn't stay open that late. So we went to Shari's. They charge way too much for chicken strips! Then I counted down to midnight so I could make my wish. Then Hooper bought a pie! We didn't get to eat it though because we forgot about it. But I'll get to that part later. Well, Amy and Clint never came into Sharis but Hooper, Kassey, and I found them later after they ate kids meals at mcdonalds and we went to taco bell. Yeah, we're fatties. What of it? :) But yeah, everyone ate , again, and it was good. I got a nacho cheese chalupa. Yum. Didn't eat all of it though. Then we went to Wendys and got a frosty. A little 99 cent one. They're actually pretty good sized though! Then, something was going on and I think Kassey was threatening to throw the frosty on amy's car but she just ended up flicking like a spoonful at her car. Then amy dumped her pop on kassey's car. Kassey was MAD. So she threw half of a frosty at amy's car. Sorry but it was funny. It was all over the windshield. I thought it was hilarious. Then Hooper, Kassey, and I went back to Kassey's and got in the hot tub! It was so fun. It's huge though and we all sat in the corners so we were all far apart but Hooper kept scaring me with his feet. And it was great because Kassey took an empty can and made it pop out of the water which entertained me to no end so when she went to bed and just hooper and I were out there I did that the whole time. Pop cans + Hot tubs = fun. It was 102 in there! So warm. I couldn't decide if I was hot or cold so I kept getting in and out of the water. Then Kassey slept on her bed, I slept halfway under Kassey's bed (my feet were under her bed) and hooper slept with his head near mine but we were perpendicular. Then he woke up to his grandma knocking on the door. Oops. He didn't ask to spend the night. So he's in big trouble apparently. Ha, you would not believe what people tell you when they think you won't remember it. Quite funny. And then we went to sleep and my stomach felt like it was bubbling. I had to go to sleep before I was going to get sick. I did not feel good at all.
Then today Kassey and I went to Woodburn to shop. Where they have all those outlet stores. It's so neat there! I only bought one thing though. An orange Roxy sweatshirt from Zumiez. It was $30 so I couldn't pass it up. That's terribly cheap for a sweatshirt. Then we went to Starbucks and I tried one of the new green tea frappucinos. Yum! I couldn't drink it all though...I get car sick. So then we went to Arbys and got some lunch. Then the mall! Man, I love it there. So, first we went to a few stores that didn't have anything neat. Then I made her go into Hollister and I'm sorry Stephanie but I got that track jacket we were looking at. But I got the brown one because I loved it. And I felt kind of bad. But then I tried to console myself because I figured you would have gotten it if you really wanted it. So yeah, I hope you didn't really want it that badly. Then we went to Jc Penney to look for these gorgeous jeans I saw a while back and they weren't there. I was so sad. Those are the only jeans I've seen in a long time that I've wanted. For some reason, I don't like jeans all that much or just pants in general. I like to buy sweatshirts and stuff, not pants. But yeah, then we had to go to hot topic. I got neon green eyeshadow, electric blue/hot pink (two in one) eyeshadow, argyle tights (so cute!) and green and white checkered vans! I only spent $43 at hot topic! So all that stuff was $3 more than the hollister sweatshirt! Kind of crazy. It was so fun though. I love all the stuff I got.
Then I get home and my parents made me go out to dinner. Pretty fun day. One of the funnest birthdays I have had. So yeah, I'm 17 now. How exciting.

fair and anger. what's new?

This blog spam stuff is really getting out of hand. Are people getting paid to do that? I want that job! Speaking of...I got paid today! I'm so excited! $453.98!!! Amy worked a little less than me and only got $350 because she's claiming herself and my parents are claiming me. Yeah, sucks to be her.

But she called me today asking me to go to the fair. But she asked for $15 gas. What the heck? That is so much! There's no way I would give someone $15 for gas. I mean, even if I wasn't completely broke right now. I went to the bank today all looking forward to cashing my check and then realized they were closed. Idiot. So yeah, my mom was like "we'd let you borrow the money but she wants too much for gas". Why does she care what I do with my own money? I hate that! And then she was like, "Oh, but we were going to take you to the fair tomorrow". Yeah, right. You have no idea how angry that makes me. She knows I always work and I asked her to please go tonight but she wouldn't and then she says she was going tomorrow. Augh. But they're not going without me I don't think. My birthday is in 4 days! I'm so excited. Kritzeck's is tomorrow. She's probably going to the beach with Hooper. She didn't even ask me. Which is kind of sad considering whenever I do anything, I ask her to come first. Whatever.

Ha, Hooper and I saw Amy Cuda today in town. It was kind of funny because like right before that Hooper was telling me about her birthday party (that neither of us are invited to) and then she like whispered to him, "Are you going to be home tomorrow?" and he's like "no, why?" and she was like, "because I was going to call you about my birthday party". Yeah, didn't say a word to me about it. I just idly stood by. So it seems like she pretends to be my friend but secretly hates me. That's okay. I don't mind. She's not necessarily my type of friend anyway.

So, I went to the Renaissance Fair with Hooper today. Yawn. Okay, Hooper wasn't a yawn but the whole booths of stuff was pretty boring. But then again, we got there as everything was shutting down. We saw Kitty. She was high. That is so unlike her. I was surprised. Pretty amusing for us though. Until she left us to go hang out with Eric (hey, Evan, your brother). Then we just walked around and looked for Kritzeck. Supposedly she was at Subway. Yeah, she wasn't. And we went to the edge of the world and reminisced about when we were Katie's "parents" and she tried to roll down that hill in a wagon. Overall, it was pretty fun. Until I got home.

As soon as I get home I hear my parents yelling for the dogs. Then I see them (maggie and jesse) up by the gate so I'm like OH CRAP! because maggie always runs under the gate and gets out. And guess who had to chase her? Mmhmm. And I hate that stupid dog. Yet I have to do everything my parents tell me. So I was running all over trying to get the stupid dog while she's trying to attack other dogs and running around. And she's so fast there is no way you can catch her! And she won't listen to anyone when you call her. We should get rid of her. She's just annoying anyways. But yeah, Hooper ended up helping me. I was really embarassed because my mom was yelling at me in front of him and just being really annoying. Then, after Hooper leaves, she starts yelling at me because I sat around all day (which I so did not) and how I didn't give my dad dinner before I left (she told me not to!) so he was complaining to her about how he's so hungry and I didn't give him any food. Augh. It's not like he has some kind of disease that denies him of the privilege of getting his own food from the fridge and possibly microwaving it. Then I had to make dinner as soon as I got home. Then my mom was like "He could have waited outside for you until you were done". Yeah, like Hooper was going to wait outside for a half hour so I could make dinner. Augh! So annoying.

I'm talking to Amy Kolling online and she didn't say she wanted $15 for gas, she said 5 - 2. I am so dense! Man, I want to go to the fair more than you could imagine. So not cool. We're talking about going. It's too late though I think. We'll see.

HH and random updates.

Guess what!?!?! Hawthorne Heights are coming to town on November 3rd. Tickets go on sale at ticketmaster Saturday at noon! I'm buying my tickets Saturday when I buy my Brad Paisley tickets. They're going to be at McMenamin's crystal ballroom. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0F003B0CCBFBAD06?brand=&tm_link=tm_home_h7 I don't see anything about 18 and up or 21 and up so I'm really hoping it's all ages! If it's 18 and up, can you go with parental supervision? probably not. Plus my parents wouldn't go to that anyway. Oh well, I am so going. I'm totally excited.
And now for some random updates...
+ Just like 10 minutes ago I was freaking out and crying because of an email I got.
+ Some guy tried to run over me at the library yesterday! I am not even joking.
+ A bunch of people are going bowling next Thursday (not my birthday) for my birthday. Molalla bowl... 9-12 I think. Be there or be... not there. Your choice.
+ I'm almost 17! Which doesn't matter to any of you because you're all already past that.
+ Apple Empanadas and stuffed mexi fries from my work are SO good!
+ I was going to give my two weeks notice today but I chickened out!

Yeah, that's all. I just wanted to update because I haven't in a little while. So, there ya have it.

Pass Margo!

So, work sucked today. Let's not dwell on that.

I went to my grandparent's after work at like 8 and it was so fun! Tomorrow is my grandma's birthday so practically all of her kids and their kids were there. Well, my mom hired a band and I was like, "Oh great, my mother hired a band. I can't wait to hear them suck." As I am usually very optimistic like that... And so my dad and I pull up (everyone was already there but I had to work) and I hear this music and I'm like "woah, that is amazing" and it truly was... And everyone was all dancing and having a good time. It was great. And then I got to meet the guys from the band, named Pass Margo and they were all so sweet and funny. Especially this guy Kevin. But then he was all drinking and rolling his own cigarettes and I'm all like eww. But he was gorgeous. He was telling me how he dressed up as Jesus for halloween one year. I can so see that. He's like the stereotypical Jesus. yeah. He was gorgeous. So yeah, this year I'm going to be having a Halloween party at the Timber Park. You should all come. Pass Margo will be there. They rock! More details to come.

So, go check out http://www.myspace.com/passmargo. And listen to some of their music.
It's crazy because I was talking to Kevin and he told me that he works at this metal place right behind the ranger station. That is so close to my house and I've walked by it tons of times. Crazyness. But yeah, that's all I had to say. Check out their music.

Forgot...

Oh wow, so I totally forgot this (don't ask how I could)... but my mom got robbed at gun point today! Isn't that scary? She works at Advance America in Gresham/Portland and two guys came in and robbed her today! She was all jilted. Yeah, I bet!! That's insane! And the police didn't get it when they hit the alarm button! So I'm thinking their alarm button doesn't work. Idk. That is so scary tho! I could totally be mom-less right now. It's insane and scary!

You will live in Shack.
You will drive a Blue Jaguar.
You will marry Brett and have 4 kids.
You will be a doctor in parking lot.
On a lighter note, go to www.playmash.com

Schedule and such.

Wow... updates::
+Work was excellent today!
+Toad girl came into work. Gag. I should have spit in her food. (But I would so never do that to you guys!)
+Aw, this cute guy came into work and his dad embarrassed him but he shouldn't have been embarrassed...
+I got a frappucino!
+Brad Paisley tickets go on sale the 20th! The day I get paid! Coincidence??
+Kritzeck is trying to get Nick and I back together.
+I need to watch Passion of the Christ in the next 4 days. Probably tomorrow or Sunday night.
+I work 12-7 tomorrow and the next day and I'm going to miss my grandma's birthday thing at her house. Oh well.
+I get to pick where we go to dinner on my birthday, which is sweet because my parents always pick crappy restaurants.
+I requested my birthday off of work when I have things to be doing the day before and day after, but nothing on my birthday. Dang.
+I am going to be home alone on my birthday until like 5:30. Yeah, not cool!
+I keep talking about my birthday like it is actually soon...it kind of is tho. Like 11 days or something.
+I still haven't read much of Jane Eyre. I think I'll try to read some after this update. I don't think I'll read the Da Vinci code or do the paper to it. He said we didn't have to do it to take the class.
+oh, I got my schedule! I'm mad because I didn't get Environmental Studies. But I got a "see counselor".
First trimester::
1)Choir
2)Human Physiology
3)Pre Cal
4) Stage Craft (Did not want!)
5)Ap English
Second Trimester::
1)Choir
2)Ag Projects
3)Zoology
4)Pre Cal
5)Economics and Personal Finance
Third Trimester::
1)Choir
2)Ag Projects
3)"see counselor"
4)Human Physiology
5)AP English
...How boring. I really don't want ag twice, or stage craft at all and there was supposed to be Ag economics too but no one got it so I'm guessing not enough people signed up. That makes me mad. Mrs. Estes was really looking forward to teaching that. And I was looking forward to getting an A.
...Well, that's all I feel like writing and I'm sure that's all you guys feel like reading. Later.

Unimportant junk.

I was actually going to start off the entry with the next paragraph but it's not exactly what you start a blog post off with. So yeah, I'll talk about some other stuff for a while. Like how I did have to work today Stephanie! And we will SO go somewhere next...Saturday night? Yes? I get paid that day and I have it off so that will be fun. I'm very sorry I couldn't go with you today, I would have loved to! I'm all for riding the bus!!

So yeah...I've been praying about this one thing for a LONG time now and finally something happened. But you know those things where it ends up not being to your advantage, but in a way it is? Well, it was one of those things. I've really liked this guy a long time and we're best friends but now he is getting back together with his ex. And for sure this time. And actually, this is what I wanted. I am not ready for a committment and I don't see myself married to him or even strongly committed so I think it's for the best. Plus all I really want is for him to be happy and I know he'd be happy with her. But it's all a really long confusing story so let's just say, I'm not mad at him about it anymore. I just hope she doesn't do what she did last time. She told him she wanted to get back together then she started dating another guy. And it was kind of funny because we liked each other and then he told me nothing could happen between us because she wanted him back and then she dated that guy and him and I started hanging out constantly and I think he wanted to go out and now she wants him back again. It's crazy how things happen. But I just know it wasn't meant to be and I'm really glad things are turning out the way they are supposed to and no one had to really get too hurt in the proccess. It just kind of freaks me out though because I know he plans on proposing to her when he turns 18 in November and I still kind of like him so to see him get engaged so soon would be crazy. And I'm really wondering how this all will affect our friendship. But he doesn't know I know yet so I guess I'll talk to him about it tomorrow.

Well, I bleached my hair...kind of. You would so laugh if you saw it. It didn't leave any black, it just turned...orange! It's crazy looking. I sort of like it but I don't want it to be this color because my friend just dyed her hair this color. I don't really want it to seem like I'm trying to be just like her considering she dyed it like 3 days ago. So yeah, I guess when I get paid next Saturday I'll get some more bleach. And this time I shouldn't have to leave it on an hour. My roots are bright blonde. It looks really funny. It doesn't really matter though because my hat will be under a hat for work every day besides next Thursday and Saturday so it's not like it matters too much. I won't be seeing anyone. Yesterday and today were both really slow at work. I hope tomorrow is too. Especially considering my manager will be in there. I hate when he's there. Everyone is so uptight. I can't wait until I learn cash register so I can stop messing up people's orders. Well, I'll probably go read a chapter of Jane Eyre and then go to sleep. Later.

Bored and angry.

Augh. I so want to quit my job right now.
I have to pay for all of my school stuff for next year. Supplies, clothes, everything. My parents were going to give me $300 before I got a job and now, nothing. I am really mad. And they are making me start saving money from my checks. If I wanted to be responsible and save money, I would do it. But no, I don't!!! And I don't trust them with my money either. They should let me keep it or put it in the bank.

Ha, work asked us tonight if we wanted to buy a uniform for "Casual Friday". It's $23 and we have to pay for it. PSHAW! For one, who knows how long I'll be working there and two, why would I pay for my own uniform? That is crazy.

I just realized I ramble and complain way too much. And talk about work way too much. But really, nothing else goes on in my life. I never ended up watching Passion of the Christ last night or reading Jane Eyre. Katie asked me to drop out of AP with her but I can't. I want to have the same schedule as Sara and I want to actually learn something next year. Honors helped me a lot. The level I was at when last year started, I shouldn't have even taken honor's but I really learned something from it.

Oh, and so it's pretty cool that the school sent out schedules this year instead of giving them to ya on the first day but I didn't get mine! Yeah, only person that I know of who didn't get it yet! And of course that would happen to me. I heard that a few classes I signed up for aren't being offered because of lack of interest. Great.

Any idea of what I should do for an x-project? lol, I have no idea. What did you guys do?

Great day...

Hey guys!
Today was pretty much the best day I've had in a long time! Actually, Sunday night through today have been really good! Actually, today started off horribly but I'll get to that!

Okay, so Sunday I work from 11 to 6 something with no break and only one huge gulp of water that hurt my stomach horribly! I was almost late to work that day then I felt like vomiting. I have no idea why but my stomach hurt bad. Then after that horrible day (where people were waiting 30 minutes for their order!!) I went over to the house of Kritzeck. That was fun. We watched Thelma and Louise and Ricochet River. Ricochet River was great! They only cut a little bit out of the book. And it was crazy because Robin Cody was the writer of the book and he was in the movie! Only for a tiny bit. Oh, ha, that's crazy because he grew up in my house. So I finally got to see what he looked like.

Well, then Monday we just hung out at her house with Hooper. I have pictures! Anyways, he asked her out later that day. Tards. Don't even get me started on why that was a bad idea. But yeah, they're cute. Then Monday night we went shopping! Correction, Ashley bought all of her school clothes except a pair of jeans in 45 minutes and then she tried on every shirt in Target that looked okay with her skirt that she needed for a job interview. Yeah, that was torture! So boring. But it was a fun night overall. All I got was a neon orange skirt for $3.35! I am so thrifty, it's fun. Well, then at like 10:40, her mom decides we should go grocery shopping. Just wow! That late at night and we are buying groceries? It was way fun.

Well, then I went home and stayed online for hours. Yeah, I should have gone to sleep since I knew today was a semi-early day. Well, I end up waking up at 8:30 (augh!) and notice Stephanie had called so I call back. Then shower and get ready. Then we plan to meet at the library at 9:50. Well, at 9:35, my mom calls telling me to put food in the crock pot. NOT COOL! So I was a little late getting to the library (mostly because a bug flew in my eye!). Then we cash my check and head to the bus. Wait for ever for it. Then go to the mall. It was so fun! And I didn't get bus-sick. We went in probably 1/3 of the stores, which is kind of a lot. But we liked a lot of stuff :) And we even tried on some hideous shirts. I ended up getting food and 2 other things (oh, and some candy for my parentals) for all of my money. I spent way too much but I don't really care now. It was worth it. Plus today was really great. Sometimes I just really need to get out of the house. Not to mention I never get to see Stephanie! OH! I rented Passion of the Christ! I've never seen it!! I'm so excited :) I've never had the chance to watch it before and it was actually at the library. So I think I'll go watch that instead of reading Jane Eyre :) I'll read later tonight.

Mitch.

So, reading Eric's comment on Stepanie's blog made me want to hear some of Mitch's jokes. Yeah, I'm just gonna pick a few of my favs::
-I have long hair, and see, people associate long hair with drug use. I wish long hair was associated with something other than drug use, like 'an extreme longing for cake'. People would see a guy with long hair and say "****, that ****** eats cake, he's on bundt cake". Mothers telling their daughters "don't bring the cake-eater over here anymore, he smell like flour. Did you notice how his eyes widened when he found out your birthday was fast approaching?"
-You know, people think I'm into sports just because I'm a man. I'm not into sports. I mean, I like Gatorade, but that's about as far as it goes. By the way, you don't have to be sweaty and holding a basketball to enjoy a Gatorade. You could just be a thirsty dude. Gatorade forgets about this demographic. I'm thirsty for absolutely no reason. Other than the fact that liquid has not touched my lips for some time. Can I have a Gatorade too, or does that lightning bolt mean "no?"
-An escalator can never break. It can only become stairs. You would never see an escalator "Temporarily Out of Order" sign, just "Escalator Temporarily Stairs... Sorry for the Convenience ... We apologize for the fact that you can still get up there."
-The flap on the inside of the vending machine is a great invention. Before that it was tough times for the vending machine owner. "Hey, which candy bar are you getting?" "That one....and every one on the bottom row!"
-I like cinnamon rolls. That's why I wish they made, like, a cinnamon roll incense. 'Cause I don't always have time to make a pan. Perhaps I'd rather light a stick, and have my roommates wake up with false hopes.
-I like vending machines, because snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at the store oftentimes I will drop it, so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential.
-I think pickles are cucumbers that sold out. They sold their soul to the devil, and the devil is dill. (okay, this one is 10 times funnier when he actually said it).
-My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said, "No, but I want a regular banana later, so yeah."
-I wrote a letter to my dad — I wanted to write, "I really enjoy being here," but I accidentally wrote "rarely" instead of "really". But I still wanted to use it, I didn't want to cross it out, so I wrote, "I rarely... drive steamboats, Dad — there's a lot of **** you don't know about me. Quit trying to act like I'm a steamboat operator. This letter took a harsh turn right away. Hello, Dad."
-I got in an argument with a girlfriend inside of a tent. That's a bad place for an argument, because then I tried to walk out and slam the flap. How are you supposed to express your anger in this situation? Zipper it up really quick? Zipp. "**** you."
-My apartment is infested with koala bears. It's the cutest infestation ever. Way better than cockroaches. When I turn on the light a bunch of koala bears scatter. And I don't want them to, you know, I'm like, "Hey, hold on fellas, lemme aprehend one of yous... and feed you a leaf."
--Okay, my all-time favorite::
When you go to a restaurant on the weekends and it's busy they start a waiting list. They start calling out names, they say "Dufrane, party of two. Dufrane, party of two." And if no one answers they'll say their name again. "Dufrane, party of two, Dufrane, party of two." But then if no one answers they'll just go right on to the next name. "Bush, party of three." Yeah, but what happened to the Dufranes? No one seems to care. Who can eat at a time like this - people are missing. You ******* are selfish... the Dufranes are in someone's trunk right now, with duct tape over their mouths. And they're hungry! That's a double whammy. We need help. Bush, search party of three! You can eat when you find the Dufranes.

Would you like fries with that?

I told myself I wasn't going to blog because it's already 10:15 and I have to wake up in ... 11 hours. But yeah, I can get by on 5 hours so blog on I say.

Work was actually hard today. There was so much running around. Not one free minute. It was insane trying to keep up with all of the orders. I think it's really funny that last night I did really good and the manager told me how excellent I did and then tonight I messed up so much and like every other burrito shell broke open. It was so aggravating! I went in at 12 and finally at like 4:35 got my break and then an hour after break Amanda let me leave. I was so glad because my stomach felt horrible. Amanda thinks Leo turned off the air conditioning to save money! Just imagine all those ovens in a tiny building when it's 90 degrees outside. Not fun!

I'm so excited for tomorrow! Because after I get off at around 6 or probably 7, I'll be going to Kritzeck's to spend the night. We're having a movie night. Then Monday we'll probably finish watching movies and hopefully ride bikes. Then home to sit around and do nothing. Then Tuesday, off to the mall with Stephanie! I'm so excited. And I feel kind of bad because I was supposed to go shopping with Kassey on Tuesday but we can reschedule. I haven't seen Stephanie... all summer? Has it really been that long??? Wow, I haven't seen Mary all summer either. There are a lot of people I haven't seen all summer. Crazy! I can't wait for school. It probably looks really bad to quit a job like 2 months after having it, huh? Lol. I kind of don't want to work next year during school because that would be soooo much to handle. I know I can but I also know my grades would not be as high as they could be if I'm trying to juggle work, ap, and drama.

Augh. Sara and I still cannot find Brad Paisley tickets anywhere. I'm freaking out. But I have no idea how long tickets are on sale before the concert. Like, 2 months ahead doesn't seem that long but idk. I believe Green Day tickets are already on sale... Oh yeah, the floor tickets for Green Day are already sold out and that show is after Brad Paisley. It's crazy.

Oh! I'm so excited, Kritzeck is writing a letter tomorrow and I get to help her. Which obviously does not sound like that big of a deal but yeah, it really is! Plus we get to watch Ricochet River. I am so excited to watch it! I loved the book a lot. I heard that it was really boring but I didn't think so at all. Well, it's 10:25 now...I should really go to bed. I'm all hyper though and don't really want to. But I have to. Well, I'm gonna read a chapter of Jane Eyre first but yeah. Still gonna go. Later.

OH! I can't forget... This guy came into A & W today and said that he ordered 2 tacos and a soft taco and that one of the tacos was supposed to be a deluxe and that the drive through person just have him 2 regular tacos. Well, Amanda searched all of the records for orders like from the last hour and there was no order even resembling that. But I was all nice and made his soft taco and gave him a side of sour cream and Amanda asked me to hand it to him and as I was saying "Thank you, have a nice day" he grabbed the bag out of my hand and like stormed out of there. Didn't even let me finish saying thank you. I soooo dislike people.

::EDIT::
Okay, so I just noticed that the entry entitled La La La was a draft, not a post so I just published it. Also::

Wow, work tonight was so much fun! It usually is but today was just great. When I got there I got to work with Amy for a little bit and then Kassey got there right after me so we worked together all night. Then Katherine showed up. Then Clint. It was so fun working with all of my friends (that work there). But Amy didn't get to work very long after I got there so she wasn't working with Katherine and Clint. But yeah, it was great.

I worked taco line pretty much all night besides when they had me doing dishes. Which was actually like the last 2 hours I was there. I really like doing dishes. And I'm really quick at it so everyone's all like "great job!" and they give me extra stuff to do and it makes me happy.

Oh, and I finally mustered up the courage to talk to my manager (big boss) about Labor Day weekend. I hope that I can get it off! I put it in request for time out but they've already told people they can't have it off. I have to have it off though. So yeah, hopefully they see how hard I've been working and give it to me. Leo (manager) told me after we got off work (after close) how good I did today and I was really happy because I've been trying and I didn't mess up any orders or anything today. It makes me happy when I'm being productive. Yeah, and I actually liked the extra work people were giving me. I have to stay busy constantly. It's insane. Like, on my days off, I will sit at home and not move, with the exception of getting a pop or food but when I'm at work or doing other physical stuff it's like "keep moving!". Yeah, I'm crazy.

Oh! Speaking of food... I got home, starving, and asked my parents what was for dinner. Well, my mom picked up a sub from the store and so I make my plate and set it on the desk thinking there was no way the animals were tall enough to get up there and my mom called me upstairs so I had to go and yeah, Jesse ate my sandwich! I was so mad! And we seriously have no other food in our house that's acceptable for dinner. We have like butter and cheese and mustard. So yeah, I'm still starving. But she did get barbecue chips so I ate a few of those. That and some whoppers ( the candy). Yeah, healthy.

Ooh! I got my very first paycheck today. Opening it was like, the best feeling ever! It's like this accomplishment. I can't even describe it. But yeah, with 2 days of working, I made $65.77. Plus my mom owed me $6 so now I have over $70. I have spent half of it already with a bag I'm getting on ebay and these really cute pants and skirt I'm getting off the internet. It's exciting! I don't know what to do with the rest of the money. I think I'll go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Omnimax. And Kassey and I are going shopping Tuesday. But yeah, I'm not really going to have enough left to spend on anything substantial. Although there were some very cute shoes at Hot Topic that I am in love with . Ha, knowing me I'll spend it all at the book store in town. Well, I'm gonna go.

I hate the feeling of jealousy!

hEY. tODAY wAS pRETTY bORING. eXCEPT fOR wHEN i wENT tO tHE pARK wITH kRITZECK aND hOOPER. Wow, don't type like that, it's annoying. But yeah, today I sat around all day and only read a chapter of Jane Eyre. I cannot believe how it is going to end! Kritzeck already told me the ending. I am just in shock. Now I don't really want to finish reading it. But yeah, have to!

So anyway, Kritzeck and I were supposed to ride bikes tonight but her parents wouldn't let her bring her bike to my house so she just ended up coming over to hang out. She played my computer while I cooked dinner and cleaned up the kitchen. Then we walked to Timber Park. Oh, yeah, I had today off. And we got halfway there and decided to call Hooper. Well, he decided to come to the park too but we were all only there for a half hour or so. It was soooo funny on the way to the park because Kritzeck kept licking the badminton racket. Yeah, it was hilarious. At least, to me. I was laughing so loud. And not just my trademark giggle but seriously laughing loudly and obnoxiously. It was so out of character.

But yeah, we swang/swinged? for a bit and then Hooper got there. Then we rolled down the big hill. I was wearing a skirt so my legs are all itchy now I hate that feeling. The grass is so dry it makes you itch. Last time we rolled down that hill, my arms got all cut up and actually started bleeding! It was crazy.

Oh, okay so I'm really mad right now. Supposedly I wasn't invited to the group trip this weekend because they knew I wouldn't want to get "wasted". Well, there are other people going who won't do that either. Augh. I don't even want to talk about this. It's really annoying. And I hate how some of my friends are corrupting some of my other friends. It's like the said friend puts up a front that she's a Christian but then she gets around my other friends and she's completely different. I dislike that.

Ookay, I really need to think of good stuff before I just break down. Oh, Kritzeck and I are going to be the next Thelma and Louise. We're planning a murder. It's kind of a secret though. Mmhmm... But we're not going to kill ourselves in the end. And yeah, whoever thinks they make it over that cliff is dumb because it's impossible. Keep dreaming. But yep, we'll be on the run soon. It's fun planning with her.

My parent's are letting me and Sara go to see Brad Paisley alone!!! We get to drive to Gresham and then ride the max into Portland! I actually get to go to Portland, by myself!!! I am amazed. Just like in complete shock. This is going to be the best night ever, so far. September 23rd. I need to remember to request the time off. I'm hoping we can skip school that day and just hang out in Portland all day. That would be so fun. I'm totally excited! I never get to do anything by myself and now I get to ride into Portland on the max at night and then come home no the max at like 10 or 11! It's insane. I am sooo ecstatic.

Okay, so right now I'm playing matchmaker for my two friends. Not fun. You'd have to know the circumstances. AUGH. What happened to trust? Wow, I miss Brett a lot. It's been like 2 weeks since I've seen him and he's the only guy I know who isn't a jerk. With the exception of the 2 guys that read this because I don't really know/hang out with you very much/at all. I took totally cute pictures of Jesse today! I think I'll post some.

La la la

Hey, this is a pretty good page for upcoming concerts in the area. Oh, what I would give to go to Ozzfest! There are going to be so many good bands there. Wow, pit tickets are only $100 each. That is sooo worth it. Really, no other seats in the place are good seats. I don't like the White River Amphitheater. And I wish I had $200. Sigh.

I was talking to my parents today about how supposedly no one is getting Labor Day weekend off and they told me I could not work it because I have to go camping. That is so lame. I could get fired because they're making me go camping. I can't get fired! I'm seriously freaking out about this and it will probably turn out to be not such a big deal like everything else I freak out about but yeah, how good will it look that I was fired from my first job? I'm just hoping my bosses will be reasonable. I don't have a choice. And I really love my job.

Hmm...some good songs to check out::
16 Military Wives::The Decemberists
I Predict a Riot::Kaiser Chiefs
I Kissed a Girl::Jill Sobule

Okay, I don't know that any of you will like that last one but I really like it's beat plus it's an interesting song. But the first 2 are great songs!

Oh, something that confuses me...why do people always say that Vancouver is a part of Oregon? Am I just totally lost, is there a vancouver, oregon? It seriously bugs/confuses me when like people ask what part of oregon to visit and other people are like, "you gotta check out vancouver!". I just don't get it.

But yeah, I'm done here. I can't think of anything else to bore you guys with. Lucky you. Oh, no work tomorrow!

::EDIT::
Wow, I am soooooo excited!!

Eh, more work.

I totally thought of a good name for a blog earlier but now I cannot think of it! I hate when that happens. And I also had a couple things to blog about and I can't remember for the life of me! Oh well, maybe I'll remember as time goes on.

Okay, so yesterday I went to my grandparent's house. That was a lot of fun. My dad, grandma, great grandma, and I always play pinochle and I am always my grandma's partner (although I hate being her partner because she always tells me everything that I should have done) but yeah, yesterday we kicked butt! It was crazy. It was like one good hand after another. And yeah, I borrowed my grandpa's bike pump! Which means I now have pumped up tires! So I went bike riding with Ashley Kritzeck today for around an hour and a half. Well, for about a half hour we talked to Samantha since she lives right by me. But yeah, we went to Timber Park and all through there. I love living next to the park! Seriously, I want to live in the park. It is so wonderful there. And pretty. But yeah, then we rode up and back down Lakeshore. That's when we saw Sammy and tried chasing her car. We were doing really well until we decided that she was just trying to lose us and she sped up really fast. It was so insane riding a bike though! It was the first time I have in 3 or 4 years and I've only ridden one once before in like the past 7 years! It was crazy. But a lot of fun.

So today, I found out that Brad Paisley is going to be at the Rose Garden in September! I was excited because he was supposed to be in Washington (Puyallup) on the 24th of September I think but then he added more tour dates and now he's going to be at the Rose Garden! I am sooo excited. I think I'll save my $$ for that one instead of Green Day. I know a lot more of Brad Paisley's stuff.

Ha, so I kind of hate (term used lightly considering I don't know any of their music) the White Stripes. But that's also kind of a joke between Kritzeck and I. But really, I don't like them. But Kritzeck told me I should buy 2 tickets and go and tell the cute guy at the library that I have an extra ticket because supposedly he loves them. But yeah, I don't think that will happen. Although he is very cute and has now come into my work 2 times out of the 3 times I've worked but of course that could be because he works right across the street. =)

And I have not seen any of you in A & W. Why is this?? I know their food is horrible but you should all come anyway. Get ice cream or something, no one can make bad ice cream. Just don't get burritos or anything, those aren't fun to make. But I guess you could if you came in at a slow time.
You guys should have seen what a mess these people left the dining room today! I was so mad! It was a man and woman and like 3 or 4 kids and they spilled chicken strips and fries all over the floor! But the woman was nice and offered to sweep it up (hehe, I wonder what Brenda would have done if I would have let her) but then she left her table all messy and covered in fries and all sticky. I was very annoyed.
Oh, so yesterday, since i get no reception at my grandparent's house, I coulnd't answer my phone when A & W called and so today when I get to work I realize Brenda changed the schedule and that instead of working 11-4 today, I was supposed to work 11-1!! Then Thursday instead of 12-7, 12-2! Yeah, that made me really mad too. 2 hour days???? But then today I ended up staying until 4:30. And I found out that my first check will only be $70. But that's 2 days of working. Today up until August 15th is my next check. Oh well. That one should be huge. I will get $100 just 2 days this weekend and I made around 40 today. So yeah, I'm super excited because that's right before back to school. But having a job is kind of making me greedy and I don't like it. Although I am excited to get Kritzeck a really snazzy present. Which I normally wouldn't do because presents aren't my thing but she already got me a present even though my bday is after hers. And not until august 24th. Well, hmm... that's all I can think of right now. I may edit this post later but I'm not sure I'll think of anything new. Later.

Ooh, I just thought of something. The song B.Y.O.B. is really good. Go listen to it! By System of a Down, of course. =)
